This book comes straight from the heart of my journey. I desire to share what I learned throughout some desperate and challenging times as a mother and as a daughter.
They say you grow from your experience, and I can attest to that. My daily growth comes from the challenges, obstacles, and love I have felt, expressed, and shared throughout my life. At each turn, I learned and grew from the experiences of all my actions and decisions. My biggest learning period came from two of the dearest and closest people in my life.
My major journey of growth and knowledge began with my daughter. Her journey began at a very young age. As a baby of 2 months, she found it difficult to breathe, and we discovered she was bronchial. This was the first time she was in the hospital, as she needed to be in an oxygen tent. It was also the very first time she had almost left us. At 13 years old, she collapsed, and it took the medical system 30 years to diagnose LUPUS.
This is where my journey with arthritis began.
My daughter Lupus was by this time at stage 5, and all her organs were under attack. She was experiencing both types of arthritis, and it was very heartbreaking to watch her go through the pain. However, we trusted the medical practitioners to help her, and my daughter went through 18 months of tests and trials of several drugs, which in the end became too much for her.
